The proposed course assumes a complex approach to war and defence in outer space, thus it demands a cross-disciplinary approach, and a variety of teaching methods will be used at three parts of the course. The course will be focused on research on interests, ideas, institutions promoted by state and non-state actors in the realm of space affairs; it is aimed at enhancing knowledge of the reasons for a tailored approach to war and defence in space. The course not only gives students at the MA level theoretical knowledge on security in space to be used in their future professional activities, but also knowledge that may prove to be unique on labour market.
