The implementation of the curriculum of the international double-degree programme International Relations and Public Diplomacy is assumed by the Jagiellonian University in Krakow during the 1st and 2nd semester, with the 3rd and 4th semesters provided by the University of Siena. Students starting their studies at the University of Siena, in their second year of studies, must complete the courses provided for in the programme of the Jagiellonian University. Completion of all semesters at both universities is mandatory and those students who complete the MA receive two diplomas.

In the first year, students complete all mandatory subjects and an appropriate number of optional modules, which will allow them to obtain a minimum of 60 ECTS points per academic year. In addition, the student is required to attend a tutorial and also choose one of the foreign languages offered from Polish, German, French, Spanish, Russian. The student has the right to select courses available in other fields of study (in particular, those provided by the International Security and Development Studies programme - link here are recommended) based on the consent of the programme director (please submit Request for acceptance of course from other programme - link here). The programme director may decide not to open selected elective courses in a given academic year.

*In the first year of second-cycle studies, the student is obliged to complete all obligatory subjects and an appropriate number of optional subjects (minimum for 31 ECTS), which will allow to obtain a minimum of 60 ECTS points per academic year.

2nd year: 3rd semester (University of Siena) 

2nd year: 4th semester (University of Siena) 

* Total number of ECTS credits in the 2nd year: 60.

* In the second academic year of second-cycle studies, the student is obliged to complete all obligatory courses and an appropriate number of elective courses (minimum 20 ECTS), which will allow to obtain a minimum of 60 ECTS credits per academic year.
