New Media and Globalization

Aim of the class is to give an overview of the historical process of globalization, with particular reference to the spreading of the social media. The course has as fundamental goals 1. the knowledge of the basic dynamics of globalization in the contemporary age. The capability to describe and analyze such complexity in an oral and written practicing of English, 3. The capability of evaluation of the impact of the new media.
