The aim of the course is to present the historical and contemporary policies implemented by institutions devoted to the protection of human rights. During the course the students will have the opportunity to discuss theoretical and practical aspects of international humanitarian law, as well as state policies regarding the issue. One of the most important elements of the course is the case study analysis of the proper and improper implementation of human rights policies in the international context.
