This course aims at answering fundamental questions of economic development and its challenges in the Asia-Pacific region (or the broadly understood Indo-Pacific). Regional economic integration and cooperation will also be discussed. Upon completion of the course, students will be able to apply different methods for understanding economic data, understand development and crises in the region and know the regional economic and integration processes at play in the Asia-Pacific.
