This component provides students with in-depth knowledge of the process of international/foreign policy formulation, its characteristics and factors affecting international/foreign policy planning and making. The orientation in this component is more theoretical and process-oriented than substantive or interpretive. The focus is policy inputs and the decision-making process rather than policy outputs.
