It is nearly three years, since the EU launched its Indo-Pacific Strategy. The roundtable Europe, China, and the Complex Trajectories of the Indo-Pacific seeks to take stock of the EU approach to the Indo-Pacific region, by examining the challenges, convergences, and contestations between the EU member states and between the EU and its Indo-Pacific partners.
All these issues will be discussed by:
- Prof. Jingdong Yuan: Director of the China and Asian Security Program, Stockholm International Peace Research Institute;
- Prof. Chiung-chiu Huang: Associate Director of the Institute of International Relations, National Chengchi University;
- Prof. Jay Hwang: Assistant Professor of International Relations, Leiden University;
- Prof. David Kiwuwa, Head of School of International Studies at the University of Nottingham Ningbo;
- Dr David O’Brien: Centre of International Studies and Development, Jagiellonian University, Krakow
- Prof. Emilian Kavalski: Centre of International Studies and Development, Jagiellonian University, Krakow
