In the QS EECA University Rankings 2019, released at the end of 2018, the Jagiellonian University was ranked in the top 10 among the 300 universities from the so-called emerging Europe.

The ranking is based on a methodology assessing ten indicators, including academic and employer reputations, research impact, percentage of international students and international research network.
