Recruitment completed!

Students from all over the world and a team of Polish and international academics and practitioners, all of them interested in security and development issues, will soon meet in Kraków.

The first edition of new MA studies - International Security and Development (ISAD), unique and innovative program translating theory into practice, will start at the Jagiellonian University in October.

Even we doubled the number of places we had to make a choice and - believe us - it wasn’t easy. The quality of all applicants was really high, therefore, we’ve decided to grant 46 fee viewer scholarships instead of 24. Focusing on educating responsible and competitive leaders of our globalised world we decided to enroll people who best suit the profile of our studies. We are looking forward to seeing them in Kraków and we believe that the first edition of ISAD is going to be an unforgettable academic experience for all of us!

ISAD program aims at fostering creative thinking about complex problems of global security and development, as well as to equip students with the analytical tools, language expertise, and cross-cultural understanding. It also helps to gain the professional skills needed for managing global security and development in an international environment.

We are very pleased and honored that our educational offer has met so much interest from prospective students from all over the world. There were candidates from about thirty countries from different parts of the world, including Africa, Asia, North and Latin America, Australia and, predominantly, Europe; each with different educational background and professional experience, but all interested in the greatest global challenges.

We would like to thank all those who took part in the recruitment. If not this academic year, then perhaps we meet the next one?
