Name: Lidia Powirska

About: Lidia Powirska obtained Master’s degree in International Relations from the Jagiellonin University (2006) and European Masters’ degree in Human Rights and Democratisation from the European Inter-University Centre for Human Rights and Democratisation (2007) in Venice. Worked in the OSCE Mission in Kosovo (2007), United Nations Integrated Mission in East Timor (2009-2012) and the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission to Ukraine (2015-2016). Currently works as a senior expert in the Polish MFA. She’s also a member of the Security Sector Reform Advisory Network to the UN. During the academic year 2019/2020 she was a Fellow at the Weatherhead Scholars Program in the Weatherhead Center for International Affairs at the Harvard University.
